bringing balance to your menstrual cycle

womb massage in surrey & sussex

nourishing womb massage therapy to help bring confidence & joy to your monthly cycle

for so many, sadly, menstruation symbolizes pain, discomfort, embarrassment, stress or anxiety. managing “period symptoms” whilst trying to maintain daily life with work & social commitments can feel like a heavy burden & we disconnect from our wombspace as a way of coping. the disconnection of the cyclical nature of our being unfortunately just compounds the negativity & physical afflictions that we associate with the monthly bleed.

this deeply nourishing womb & sacral massage gently stimulates the muscles & organs of the pelvis & abdomen. shifting stagnation & blockages, boosting the circulation to awaken & re-establish the relationship with your energetic core.

perhaps you are suffering with pelvic issues, such as pcos, endometriosis, fibroids, or you simply wish to learn how you can embrace & support your monthly cycle.

please take a look below at what you can expect & feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to arrange a no-obligation chat.

common questions

where do the treatments take place?

the treatments will be held within your own home, so that you can enjoy the time, stress free without travelling. i find this has many benefits, mainly being that you can climb into bed straight after your massage!

what space is needed?

somewhere private where you will be undisturbed for the 90minute massage. i will bring my heated massage table which needs space about the size of a single bed with access to a plug point.

can i receive the massage if i am menstruating or ovulating?

the massage cannot be given when you are ovulating, if you are unsure of this timing, please let me know & we can discuss a good time for you. if you are menstruating, the lower womb massage cannot be given since it can cause discomfort or even disrupt menstrual flow. the upper abdominal & sacral massage can be received if this feels appropriate for you. please advise where you will be on your cycle when booking in.

how many treatments will be needed?

the package includes 3 initial treatments, with self care practice encouraged in between sessions. if further sessions are needed or you would simply like to continue to receive a regular massage, additional sessions can be booked at a special discounted rate.

what should i wear for the massage?

during the massage at all times you will be covered with a sheet & blankets. for the most benefit it is ideal to have no trousers, only underwear, however if you prefer you can choose to wear loose fitting trousers which can be lowered. you can choose to keep loose clothing on your top, however you feel most comfortable. i always encourage warm socks to help keep feet nice & cosy during the massage, since this is a pathway to bring warmth to the womb!

are there any contraindications to the massage?

you cannot receive the massage if you may be pregnant the womb massage. please advise me if you currently have an IUD coil in place, or have any current vaginal infections such as thrush or fungal infections., since the womb massage cannot be received in this cases. if you have any current prolapse issues, or abdominal separation please let me know so that i can adapt the massage to your needs.
